Third Party Parcel – Delivery Service Management

Overnight, Air & Ground- Auditing & Monitoring

Believe it or not, the vendors that pick up and deliver your overnight packages make mistakes, too.

IAS makes sure that our Customers don’t pay for those mistakes!

Year in and year out, 6-10% of the packages handled by the major carriers don’t fulfill the guaranteed performance parameters. When this happens to one of your packages, it is up to you to notify the carrier within 15 days or you pay full price for non-performance.

If credits don’t appear on nearly every invoice you receive from these vendors, your account is not being monitored, and you’re leaving money on the table.

Over 40% of Fortune 500 Companies utilize shipping audits. If parcel-delivery services are a large part of your budget, you’ve probably developed an in-house program to focus on this task. This in-house function usually means at least one full-time employee on the payroll (and all that implies) dedicated exclusively to parcel-delivery account monitoring. Our customers typically can’t justify adding additional employees for this activity, but appreciate the fact that IAS lowers their shipping budget by ~ 6% with no additional overhead, and no commitment – except to pay IAS on a contingency basis for the results we produce.

When you hire IAS, the only change to your existing procedures is to designate an employee who will forward to us the weekly electronic invoice that you should already be receiving from your carrier. We take it from there. IAS will identify any late deliveries, duplicate package charges, address-input errors and manifest failures. We can process your credits directly with your carrier, have them send you a revised statement identifying the reversed charges, and then invoice you for a percentage of the savings generated. We’ll provide you with succinct Management Reports with summary info and detail on a monthly basis or, in whatever format you would like to receive that data.

Based on our own experience as a customer, Third-Party- Parcel-Delivery-Service Management is an enterprise that we’ve wanted to develop for several years. We were ecstatic to find that our “Focus Group” indicated a strong need for an offering like this. Largely due to the addition to our team of associates who have over 40 years of combined management experience at the major parcel-delivery vendors, we’ve enjoyed tremendous success in this business. We especially like the fact that this service provides an ongoing benefit to our Customers as well as an ongoing revenue stream for IAS.

IAS provides these services for Customer accounts with FedEx, and UPS.

IF YOU ONLY HEAR ABOUT A LATE OR MISSING PACKAGE FROM A DISSAPOINTED CUSTOMER –

THAT’S NOT GOOD!
